Why Saturn

Utility when you need it.
Range when you want it.

Saturn brings together a high-output hub motor, full suspension, hydraulic braking and an extendable rear platform in one moped-style chassis. Choose the single-battery configuration for everyday riding or step up to dual-battery capacity when longer routes are part of the plan.

One platform

Built for the everyday.
Ready to keep going.

City streets, longer commutes and cargo-heavy trips ask different things from an eBike. Saturn answers with full suspension, hydraulic control and a battery platform that lets riders choose the range that fits the journey.

Performance

1000W continuous.
1800W when it counts.

Saturn pairs its 52V platform with a 1000W hub motor and up to 95 N·m of torque, giving this heavier moped-style eBike the response needed for everyday starts, loaded rides and changing terrain. The 1800W peak output provides additional power when demand increases.

Ride & control

Full suspension.
More control over rough ground.

A 140 mm hydraulic front fork works with 55 mm of rear spring travel to absorb broken pavement and uneven surfaces, while 20 × 4.0" fat tires add another layer of stability and cushioning.

Range

Single or dual battery.

The dual-battery build carries 1913.6 Wh — twice the capacity of the single — for riders whose round trip would otherwise need a mid-day charge. Both configurations use the same 58.8V charger.

Braking & visibility

Hydraulic braking.
Lighting that signals intent.

2-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors provide controlled braking, while motor cut-off interrupts motor assistance as soon as the brake lever is engaged. A front light with horn and a taillight with brake and turn signals improve visibility and communication in traffic.

Display, app & control

A cockpit you can tune.

The TFT color display keeps core ride information in view, while compatible settings such as PAS levels and throttle response can be adjusted through the bike controls or Heybike app. Saturn also uses a twist throttle for direct motor control.

Everyday utility

330 lb payload.
Rack, fenders and mirrors.

Enough capacity for rider plus cargo, on a moped-style frame with a long saddle and footpegs. Fenders, the rear rack and mirrors come with the bike rather than as extras.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the single- and dual-battery Saturn?
The single-battery Saturn carries a 956.8 Wh pack and weighs 103 lb. The dual-battery version carries 1913.6 Wh — twice the capacity — and weighs 115 lb. Everything else is the same between the two.
What is the estimated riding range?
Heybike lists 30–50 miles for the single-battery Saturn and 60–100 miles for the dual-battery configuration. These are estimates, not guarantees: actual range varies with rider weight, terrain, temperature, speed, assist level, throttle use, tire pressure and riding conditions.
How fast does Saturn go?
Heybike lists a top speed of 28 MPH. Top speed, PAS levels and throttle response can be adjusted on the display or in the Heybike app.
Does Saturn include the rear rack, fenders and mirrors?
Yes. Fenders, rear rack and rear mirrors are included. The rear fender arrives pre-installed; the front fender and rear rack are in the box and require installation.
How much can Saturn carry?
Heybike lists a 330 lb payload capacity, which covers the rider plus cargo. The bike itself weighs 103 lb in single-battery form and 115 lb with dual batteries.
Can Saturn be ridden in the rain?
Saturn is water resistant, not waterproof. Heybike rates the electrical components IPX6 and the whole bike IPX5, which covers rain and road spray. The ratings do not cover submersion or pressure washing.
What charger does Saturn use?
A 58.8V / 3A charger. Both the single- and dual-battery configurations use the same charger.
Can Saturn settings be adjusted through the Heybike app?
Yes. Top speed, PAS levels and throttle response can be adjusted in the Heybike app, and the bike can be switched between Class 2 and Class 3 limits. The same settings can also be changed on the bike’s display.
How much assembly is required?
The rear fender is pre-installed. The front fender and rear rack are included in the box and need fitting. A user manual card is supplied, and the manual is also available to download from the manufacturer.
