Off-road scooter

1000 watts of rated power.
And tires that can use it.

The GT2 is iSinwheel's off-road scooter: a 1000 W rated motor on 11-inch pneumatic tires, hydraulic disc brakes at both ends, and an aluminium alloy frame that folds in one step. The four headline numbers are above; these are the ones that decide whether it suits your riding.

48 V / 15 Ah pack
5–7 h charge time
IP54 splash resistance
35% climbing grade, per iSinwheel

iSinwheel rates the maximum range at 37 miles under its own test conditions — a 160 lb rider at 25 °C on a stable surface. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, temperature, speed and tire pressure.

Performance

1000 watts, rated.
Not a peak figure.

iSinwheel publishes 1000 W as the GT2's rated power — the figure the motor is specified to hold, rather than a headline number it touches briefly. KEWELO publishes no peak figure for this model because iSinwheel does not publish one against this configuration. The specification table also rates the scooter to 28 mph and to grades up to 35 percent.

Range

Up to 37 miles.
Under stated conditions.

iSinwheel is unusually specific about how it measures range: a 160 lb rider, 25 °C, a stable surface. That is where 37 miles comes from, and it is a ceiling rather than a daily figure. Carry more weight, climb more, ride faster or ride colder and the number falls — which is true of every scooter, but rarely written down.

Modes

Ten, eighteen, twenty-eight.
Pick one and stay there.

Eco holds 10 mph, Standard 18, Turbo 28. The point of three separated modes is that a shared path and an open road are not the same ride, and you set the ceiling before you set off rather than managing it with your thumb. Whether a mode reaches its figure still depends on grade, load and charge.

Terrain

Eleven inches of air.
And a 35 percent grade.

This is the off-road model in iSinwheel's line, and three things make it one: the tire, the suspension and the grade. Eleven-inch inflatable all-terrain tires and dual suspension front and rear take the edge off surfaces that are not smooth pavement. The 35 percent figure is what iSinwheel publishes for climbing, not something KEWELO has measured.

Carrying it

Folds down to 48 × 8.6 × 22 in.
Still 53 pounds.

One step folds the stem onto an aluminium alloy frame. Folded it measures 48 × 8.6 × 22 inches; unfolded, 48 × 25 × 49. Measure the space you mean to put it in against those numbers — a scooter that fits one vehicle does not fit every vehicle, and 53 pounds is a lift either way.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

How fast does the GT2 go?
iSinwheel's specification table rates it at 28 mph. Local rules decide where that speed is legal.
Why do I see “28+ MPH” on some pages?
iSinwheel's merchandising banner says 28+ MPH while its own specification table says 28 MPH. KEWELO publishes the specification figure, 28 mph.
What range should I expect?
iSinwheel advertises up to 37 miles from the 48 V 15 Ah pack. It states that its range claims are measured with a 160 lb rider at 25 °C on a stable surface, so treat 37 as a ceiling. Rider weight, hills, speed and cold all reduce it.
How long does charging take?
Five to seven hours from a 100–240 V supply, using the supplied 2 A charger.
What riding modes does it have?
Three. iSinwheel publishes Eco at 10 mph, Standard at 18 mph and Turbo at 28 mph.
What does the display show?
The LED colour display reads out speed, battery power, voltage, drive mode and lighting settings.
What brakes does it have?
iSinwheel describes front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, backed by EABS electronic braking.
What tires does it use?
Eleven-inch inflatable all-terrain tires, front and rear.
Does the GT2 have suspension?
Yes. iSinwheel describes the GT2 as having dual suspension, front and rear. It does not publish a travel figure, a spring rate or a damper type for this model, so KEWELO does not state one.
How steep a hill can it climb?
iSinwheel publishes a 35 percent climbing grade. That is the manufacturer's figure, not one KEWELO has measured.
Can I ride it in the rain?
iSinwheel rates it IP54. That is a splash-resistance rating, not a waterproof one: it is not rated for immersion, and it should not be ridden through standing water. iSinwheel does not publish a guarantee for riding in rain.
How much does it weigh, and how big is it folded?
53 lb. Folded it is 48 × 8.6 × 22 in; unfolded 48 × 25 × 49 in. Measure the space you mean to put it in rather than relying on a general claim about vehicles.
How much can it carry?
Up to 330 lb, including anything you carry with you.
Who does it fit?
iSinwheel recommends riders between 4'0" and 6'7", and gives an age guideline of 14 and over.
How is it locked?
Through the isinwheel Club app or with an NFC card.
What are Zero-Start and cruise control?
iSinwheel lists both. Zero-Start means the scooter will not drive away from standstill without a kick; cruise control holds a speed once you are moving.
Can I switch the display between mph and km/h?
Yes. iSinwheel's instructions are to hold the M button and the light button together to enter setting mode, then use + or − at P01 to switch between km/h and mph.
What lighting does it have?
A front headlight, ambient lights along the deck, turn signals and a brake light. The turn signals are operated from a control on the left of the front of the scooter.
What is the difference between the two styles?
The seat. GT2 with Seat is the same scooter supplied with iSinwheel's seat fitted; GT2 Standard is supplied without one.

  3. Amazing 🛴🛴🛴

I love my new isinwheel scooter, is a good looking, comfortable and good speed for me, the only little thing is the battery life is not bad but would be nice, if the range would be a little bit longer 😊😉⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I admit that I was scared to make a big purchase online. I received the discount for preorder. I waited a month for the shipment to start. Everything was delivered perfectly. The app to track worked great. Was shipped FedEx. Product was perfectly operational with no discrepancy. I love my GT2 scooter. Headlight had to be installed. Wrapped plastic stayed (glued?) on bottom of battery compartment.

  5. Horrible scooter

Scooter breaks everytime I fix it I’ve had to fix it atleast 5 times within the year of owning it and didn’t even ride it for 4 months waste of money

  6. Amazing

I can’t think of one negative thing to say about my new scooter. From ordering to delivery to riding all has been smooth going. It just fits me perfectly in every way. Thank you Insinwheel for being so awesome.

  7. Handles Cold Mornings

I took my GT2 out early in the morning when everything was frosty, and it handled better than I expected. The scooter feels solid and stable, even on cold, slightly slick ground, and it never felt sketchy while riding. It has plenty of power for open roads and long stretches, but it’s still easy to control and doesn’t feel jerky. The ride is comfortable, and the suspension does a good job soaking up bumps. Overall, it feels like a tough, dependable scooter that’s built for more than just smooth city pavement.

I am really happy with my Isinwheel GT2 Off-Road Electric Scooter. It is easily the best in town and smooth, powerful, and super fun to ride. The three riding modes are great for different situations, and the turbo mode is an absolute blast! The perfect blend of speed, comfort, and quality. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome electric scooter. Easy delivery and excellent customer support. Worth for the price.

  9. 350 miles of 5 star fun so far...

I bought 2 of these scooters and since we got them in June I have driven my car about 5 times. Where we live the pavements are poor and the roads have a lot of pot holes so the chunky tires are perfect. We drive to the gym, round town, coffee shops and out of town into the country to wineries. I'm 190lbs, my wife 120. I have been up some really steep hills on this. Not fast but was shocked it got me up[ there at all. We head down gravel paths, and grass on occasion and it performs great. We just use Level 2 which goes to about 18 mph. As for range, it's not as advertised but not a problem. Perhaps 25 miles for me, more for my wife. If we are going a long way, we take the charger and charge up at our destination and we're good to go. Great fun, the carry case and lock are great and we have really enjoyed them. I have looked a lot and for the price and what this scooter delivers I don't think there's a better one in its class.

  13. An Excellent Experience

Benefits: scooters are great for transportation in dense cities with nearby destinations, expensive car parking, and plenty of bike trails/lanes. Scooters can get you to work tirelessly while you save up to get a car. Or, just use a scooter as your primary transportation and ditch the license plate registration fees, car insurance rate increases, oil changes, and other extraneous difficult maintenances involving owning a car. My Experience: it was so shiny and cool! I was so afraid to touch it that I accidentally broke the plastic structure that holds the velcro strap while attempting to attach the storage bag to the handle bar. It's not exactly a feather but it's not impossible to hold with one hand once it's folded, you find the center of gravity, and you lift ergonomically with your knees bent and back vertically straight. Company: iSinWheel had great customer service that offered a free gift for my disappointment, just for a small error that I could've fixed with hot glue. Honestly: I was so confident in my ability to use the scooter that I didn't use the manual. The YouTube unboxing videos were good enough. I didn't realize that the speed was restricted to 15 MPH by default, though. It took a bit of googling to find what to do but experiments to know when to do it. The what is to press M five times; the when is to do that immediately after turning the scooter on. Safety: the pneumatic wheels and suspension make riding over bumps easier than my solid tire ES1-300 scooter. Security: The ability to set the max speed limit low ensures that if an unwittingly thief or child rides the scooter, they wouldn't go too fast for you. Date of experience: March 19, 2025

I bought the isinwheel GT 2 scooter because I needed something for on road and off-road. It has huge wheels. It's built very tough and the speed is unbelievable. This is one scooter that has it all. With the nice big fat tires, It also has a beefy look that all kids would envy. Great machine for the money and also a very responsive customer service.

    Joe R.

Ok so yes I'm a real person. No bot lol. I looked for a very long time for affordable electric scooters to finally decide on 2 gt2s. Arrived in good shape and fully charged. At around 40-50 miles I did have a throttle break on me. They were quick to replace it without hesitation. Tbh I ended up replacing it with a better more sturdy throttle I found online. However it still helps a lot as I assume the other one will fault as well so I still have a backup now. Although from my research it seems many e scooter and bikes have the same throttle. So it seems common. Besides the small throttle issues the scooters have been AWESOME! So much fun zooming around the neighborhood and in town. And easily reaching the top speeds of 28mph. Although at those speeds don't expect 20+ mile range. But in standard you can definitely pass 20 on a long pretty smooth ride. They have been so awesome I'm about to order another with dual motors. Unfortunately isinwherl does not carry one much better than the gt2 but if they did I wouldn't hesitate to buy it! If I have any other issues I will edit my review but as of now I would say an easy 4.5/5 star just because of the throttle issue. But because of the good customer service it's not a problem and they are will ima to help. For about 600 dollars don't buy any other scooter. This ones fully loaded and the fastest for the price point. Scoot on peeps!

I really enjoy my GT2. Looks like the best bang for the buck out there. I wish I could ride longer before the next charge. Honeycombed or tubeless tires would be interesting on it just because inner tube change is tiresome. What an awesome ride though! I ride a total of 4 miles to work and 4 miles back home on speed 3 and it still has full bar battery at 48V...usually 54V on full charge. Love it!! I want another so my wife can ride trails with me.

  35. Great and smooth ride !

This scooter is a lot of fun. On gravel and dirt it’s a bit bumpy as the suspension is fairly stiff, but it still powers through. Up and down slight hills it does great. Top speed is not hard to hit. Battery life is great. I bought 2 and due to winter didn’t have many chances to test so I wanted to wait to write my review. I like that I can restrict the speed for my daughter (no need for a 11 year old to go 28mph) and there are plenty of modes for her to grow into the scooter. I would purchase this again. Great buy!

  37. You won’t regret
